Lovely depression glass creamer and sugar made by Macbeth Evans. This is their famous 'Petalware' which came in a number of different hand painted patterns or plain. The color of this glass is a white opal glass and was named "Monax". The pointed red petal flower pattern was named "Florette" and is one of their most popular and collectible patterns. It was first made in the early thirties, but it is possible this pattern was still made as late as the fifties.
CONDITION: Creamer and sugar bowl are in good condition with no chips or nicks. The creamer has a couple scuff marks, like something metallic was rubbed against it. It might be possible to remove these marks. They are not particularly noticeable. You will see one of the marks just by the spout in the main picture.
SIZE: The creamer is 3 3/8 inches tall, 6 oz, and 3 inches wide. The sugar is 3 3/8 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches wide and they are both footed.
