Edna Lyall was the pseudonym of early feminist novelist Ada Ellen Bayley. During her lifetime she was a very popular novelist. This is one of her most successful books.

This is a first edition published in 1898 by Longmans, Green, and Co. of New York.

CONDITION: Very good with a signature of the original owner in the inside cover, a lean in the spine, and only a few marks of any significance. Nice bit of gold gilt on the cover, and an attractive cover.

SIZE: 5 inches by 7 1/2 inches.
