Sweet depression glass saucer made by Macbeth Evans. This is their famous 'Petalware' which came in a number of different hand painted patterns or plain. The color of this glass is a white opal glass and was named "Monax". The pointed red petal flower pattern was named "Florette" and is one of their most popular and collectible patterns. It was first made in the early thirties, but it is possible this pattern was still made as late as the fifties.
The sacuer is in good condition with no chips or nicks. It has some very tiny scratches in the center of the dish. I really had to hold it to the light to see. However this saucer is kind of warped! LOL! Obviously at the time of manufacture. It would not destroy its functionality however, if you're looking for the saucer to go with your teacup.
It measures 6 inches across.
