Quaint English-style teapot from the 1940s era marked 'Japan'. Cottage Ware is adorable, and a bit kitsch, but highly collectible vintage farmhouse kitchen decor. This particular tea pot is a round thatched cottage with a branchy handle and spout, and vines growing up the side of the cottage.
CONDITION: This piece is for decoration only. It is very crazed, but that adds to its rustic appeal, and there are two chips on the lid, as well as a crack. They have all been there a very long time and do not take away from the eye appeal of the pot.
SIZE: The tea pot is 5 inches tall, and 6 1/2 inches wide from spout to handle.
