These are green Block Optic pattern cups from Hocking Glass, now Anchor Hocking, made between 1929 and 1933 - so true vintage depression glass in a highly desirable pattern. The green seems to glow under natural light, and under UV light it glows neon green! This color was made by putting a tiny amount of uranium into the hot glass, making it radioactive. However it is quite safe, a very small quantity and sealed inside the glass. Uranium glass is often referred to as Vaseline glass. This particular version of the Block Optic has pointed handles. Hocking produced a number of different handle shapes for this pattern.
