Great little vintage ashtray dated 1938 from the AFIF Temple in Tacoma, Washington. The Shriner's temple was founded in 1888, the oldest in the Pacific Northwest, and this ash tray, which is marked "AFIF Temple, Golden Jubilee, 1888-1938" and features the Shriner's emblem in the center. The Shriners, original entitled "Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine" is an appendant body to the Freemasons, and thus this a great little piece of vintage Masonic memorabilia for the collector. Or a perfect gift for a NW Shriner!
