That Man from Wall Street, a Story of the Studios, appears to be a torrid, for the era, tale of passion with a woman artist (the studios of the title) and her suitors, which, apparently, include a handsome but ne'er do well naval officer and a Wall Street broker. It is meant to be a character study, as well as passionate (judging by the other titles our author is credited with). This is a rare book that is deemed 'important' by a forgotten mistress of romance.
