Plenty of 'candid' photos of movie stars in this vintage copy of Movie Life Magazine from May 1951 with couple Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis on the cover. Inside it's full of great photos - supposedly 'candids' but you just know they're all posed photo shoots - still they offer a delightful vision of the life of a movie star back then. Lots of great celebrities in this issue, including rugged leading man Robert Mitchum, sultry Elizabeth Taylor, and bubbly Doris Day. Color and black and white photos.
Movie Life Magazine focused primarily on featuring tons of stars, tons of photos, and lots of candids. It has very little text - just TONS of great pics of classic movie stars from the Golden Era of Hollywood.
Sadly many of these Golden Age magazines were mutilated for their covers and movie ads. This magazine is intact.
CONDITION: Good to very good. I would class this one as very good except where the magazine creased there is some cracking of magazine, and a little bit of very light tearing at the edges. Tanning extremely light.
SIZE: It is a 8.5 inch by 11 inch format
NOTE: I price my vintage movie magazines based on age, condition, and how good the content is. I have no idea of their relative rarity, but I do know that many of these old magazines were cut up for clippings, or their covers removed for framing, so any intact movie magazine is a good find!
