It is pretty hard to find the cereal bowls in this very collectible pattern, and these are in marvelous condition to boot.
Jeannette Glass made the popular Cherry Blossom pattern from 1930 to 1939. It is a very attractive pattern of true Depression Glass. The pattern is charming with both blossoms, but also leaves and cherry fruits as part of the central motif. Green depression glass also has a very tiny quantity of uranium in it - making it glow bright neon green under UV lights. Uranium glass is sometimes erroneously referred to as vaseline glass (but that is an older yellow type that contains uranium particles).
There are known reproductions of Cherry Blossom, however these are the real deal - glowing examples of vintage depression glass from the thirties.
CONDITION: Excellent, probably very seldom used in their 80 years. Small imperfections from manufacture as is typical with glass of this era.
SIZE: 6 inches wide.
