Hailing from the 30s or 40s this is a charming older design by the highly collectible Royal Albert, makers of English bone china, and renowned for their teacups. This pattern is called "Petunia" and the floral pattern is in blue, yellow and pink. I must say the flowers don't look much like petunias to me, but it's a very quaint old-fashioned design, decorated with lovely sponged gold trim. The cup is in the Countess shape.
CONDITION: Excellent with no chips, nicks, or cracks.
The saucer is 5 1/2 inches wide and the cup is 2 3/4 inches tall.
