The rim of this elegant design, April Rose, from Aynsley China, features a lovely mid century floral pattern in a pastel. The gold trim really stands out. These are really sweet little plates, either bread & butter (as replacements.com calls them) or dessert plates.
Aynsley has been producing English fine bone china for over 200 years, and they still craft it the old-fashioned way. Judging by the mark and style this piece was made in the fifties or sixties. Aynsley's china is still used and presented to the Royal Family.
This listing is for a single plate - I have more plates, as well as other pieces in this pattern. If you plan to order several pieces of this pattern, message me for a bulk discount.
CONDITION: Excellent with no chips, cracks, or nicks. However the pieces do show signs of scuffing, light scratching on some surfaces. This set was clearly in regular use for some time.
SIZE: Bread & butter plate is 6 1/4 inches wide.
