This vintage movie magazine issue of Screen Stories from March 1956 is simply loaded with fantastic stars of classic Hollywood. The cover features vivacious Debbie Reynolds, and inside you'll find movies features like "The Man with the Golden Arm" starring Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak, as well as the incredibly popular musical "Carousel". There are stars like Fred McMurray, Barbara Stanwyck, Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, and so many more. There are also some great ads, some in color and one is a terrific and very amusing color ad for "The Conqueror" with John Wayne and Susan Hayward, a movie so miscast it pretty much tanked Wayne's career for a while.
Screen Stories, formerly Screen Romances, apparently, focused on short stories based on movies, as well as celebrity features and photos.
Sadly many of these magazines were mutilated for their covers and movie ads. This magazine is intact.
CONDITION: Only slight evidence of any wear. This magazine is in excellent condition, pretty much mint.
SIZE: It is a 8.5 inch by 11 inch format
