J. H. Weatherby & Sons was founded in 1891, and operated out of the Falcon Pottery in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, from 1892 until their closure in 2000. They made mostly household ceramics, including these adorable little mini creamers or individual creamers with a brown transferware pattern. On the bottom is the trade name "Royal Crownford Ironstone". The transferware pattern is an Asian style landscape with building, bridge, swans, and flowers.
CONDITION: Very good, no chips, nicks or cracks, but the glaze is crazed. There is a flaw on one of the creamers that looks like a chip on the base, but you can see that the glaze is over the rough patch, and thus it was done at the time of manufacture.
SIZE: About 2 1/2 inches tall
