Very elegant little blue and white demitasse and saucer made by Royal Crown Derby in their "Mikado" pattern featuring oriental style landscape and figures with gold trim. RCD started making their Mikado pattern in the twenties, and have continued to make it as it is such a popular and attractive pattern. This particular example has a mark that indicates it was made between 1964 and 1975.
RCD has been making distinctive porcelain wares since around 1750, making it and Royal Worcester, one of the oldest porcelain potteries in England.
SIZE: Cup is 2 inches tall. Saucer measures 4 1/4 inches across.
CONDITION: Excellent with no chips, nicks or scratches.
