Vintage Elegant Glass - Heisey Glass Old Sandwich Sahara Yellow Creamer and Sugar

Rare cream and sugar set from A. H. Heisey Glass Company of Ohio in their Old Sandwich pattern in their color Sahara which is a pale lemon yellow. This is an elegant glass set made in the thirties. It features panels with circles, and a sort of lobed base. This pattern was also know as Blank 1404. The quality is obvious, with a beautiful polish and brilliance that Heisey Glass is known for.
Elegant glass was made during the same period as depression glass. The difference between elegance glass and depression patterns is quality and craftsmanship. This glassware would have been much more expensive at the time it was made. Much of the work was hand done, and the glass is better quality with less mold lines.
CONDITION: Very good condition with no chips cracks, or nicks. There does seem to be some wear and surface abrasion to the creamer, but still very good, while the sugar looks pristine.
SIZE: 6 inches long by 2 3/4 inches tall.
