Sleek and silky to the touch, enjoy this Lenox "Montclair" teacup and saucer for an elegant afternoon tea. Montclair was one of Lenox's "Presidental" patterns, in understated elegance, where you could mix and match the sets, and they would all coordinate gracefully. It would make a wonderful service for a wedding or elegant dinner party. This is a footed tea cup.
This pattern was made from 1949 to 2004. The bottom is marked with the Lenox mark, wreath, pattern name. These particular pieces are probably from the seventies, they are certainly before 1988.
Lenox has been making fine American porcelain, originally inspired by Belleek, since 1889.
