The original classic tale of a boy running away to the circus. "Toby Tyler or Ten Weeks with a Circus" was meant to be a morality tale of what happens to bad boys who try to shirk life's responsibilities, but instead fueled the dreams of several generations of children. Originally written in 1877 this edition was published in 1923, just demonstrating the story's longevity. Written by James Otis (Kaler), and published by Grosset and Dunlap.

CONDITION: Hardback in very good condition to fine. Original dust jacket is in fair condition, still look nice, but extensively torn.

SIZE: 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches.
