Vintage Roseville Dogwood bowl in smooth green made in the 1920s. The base is an olive green, and the dogwood blossoms are a cream hued white, and the sturdy branches are in a dark brown, near black.
Roseville Art Pottery's most famous and distinctive designs came about from the work of art designer Frank Ferrell starting in 1918. Dogwood was one of the early patterns of this Arts & Crafts design upgrade at the old pottery.
This is a gorgeous example.
CONDITION: Very good with no cracks or chips. There is one small scratch on the surface, and the glaze shows very fine crazing that is hard to see.
