Lovely refined design on this teacup and saucer in blue on white and accented with gold on the pattern "Scroll" made by the Thomas Morris potteries under their trade name "Crown Chelsea". Crown Chelsea "Scroll" is a wonderful pattern for your blue and white collection, or for a traditional English teatime.
Thomas Morris operated out of the Regent Works in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, the famous pottery district of England. They were known for their most excellent high quality gilded china. The mark on this set would date it to around the twenties, or slightly earlier.
