A charming yet simple antique stereoview showing "Easter Chicks and Rabbits", and numbered 3203. The chicks have been colored yellow. This view must have been very interesting to young city children of the period.
This stereoscope card is published by C. H. Graves, copyright 1896, and distributed by his Universal Photo Art Co. of Philadelphia. Charming reverse art too.
Stereoviews were once produced in large quantities, a form of 3D entertainment and a way for people to see exotic or interesting locales far from home using a stereoscopic viewer - like the stereoscope. They are two nearly identical views photographed from a single stereoscope camera with two lens.
CONDITION: Very good.
SIZE: 7 inches x 3 1/2 inches.
